Carving of a winged horse "Pegasus" in Australian precious opal. The back of the carving features a sun (not shown). It is a semi-transparent, medium grey base opal. The carving weighs 20.1 grams, or 100.5 carats. Measurements are 40 x 34 x 19 mm.
