The large flashes of color in this gem are referred to as Welo Broadflash. This stone displays bold, bright flashes of green, blue, red, orange and yellow. This Opal is a hydrophane Opal, along with most all Ethiopian Opals. The cut for this gem is a flat back with a Portuguese trillion top.
